Our homework this week is complete the following activities:
-on DoodleSpell, assignments from Week 4 of our Spring 1 spelling words. If you have any other assignments to finish off then please complete those too. Try and spend about 5 minutes a day on Doodle Spell to continually improve your spelling, as the app targets the rules and words that it has noticed you find trickier.
-our latest MyMaths assignments. This week I have set two assignments, one as a revision exercise and another to practise our learning in maths this week. Please let me know if your child needs a reminder of their login sending home.
-remember to practise your spellings ready for our test next week. The rule to be tested on Monday is the spelling of words from word families. Please see the following for a reminder of the spelling words: Y6 Spring 1 Spellings
-complete your reading record entry. Our new reading diaries went home at the start of the term and it would be great to see how the children are getting on with those next week.
-as our topic Great Explorers will be for the full spring term, our topic homework showcase will be at the end of the next half term, on Tuesday 24th March. However, if your child would like to get ahead with starting their topic homework or has anything they would like to share with us along the way, then please do send that in to me so that we can enjoy sharing it.
