Crossdale pupils recently performed with the Equals Trust Choir at the Albert Hall Nottingham—a memorable experience for all involved.
They rose to the occasion with confidence, focus and enjoyment, delivering a performance to be proud of. Just as importantly, they supported one another throughout, showing the teamwork and maturity we value.
Thank you to the Equals Trust for creating this opportunity, and to staff and families for making it possible.
A great day—and one our pupils will remember.

Equals Trust Choir at the Albert Hall
Each year, pupils from across Equals Trust come together to perform as a massed choir at the Albert Hall Nottingham. It’s a shared performance in a professional venue—far beyond a typical school concert.
What is it?
Children rehearse in school, then join hundreds of other pupils to sing as one choir. The scale and setting make it a powerful experience.
Rooted in what Equals Trust stands for
- Broad opportunity over time – every child accesses enrichment across their school journey
- Working together – schools collaborating to create shared experiences
- Valuing the arts – ensuring music and performance remain a visible part of school life
This is one example of how the Trust widens experiences beyond the classroom.
The impact on children
- Confidence – performing on a large stage
- Belonging – part of something bigger than their own school
- High expectations – a real concert environment
- Teamwork – working towards a shared outcome
For those who take part, it’s often a standout moment of primary school—one they remember long after the final note.
