We planned and made our own vegetable soup using seasonal vegetables.

We discussed vegetable flavours and textures before planning our own soup. We then learnt about health and safety and hygiene.

We had to be really careful and sensible when chopping/peeling and preparing our vegetables for our soup. We used bridge hold and claw hold to ensure we chopped vegetables safely.

We then tasted and evaluated our soup! Some children even went back for seconds (and thirds!).
