Below is a summary of this week’s homework.

Spelling

This year we have moved from SpellingShed/EdShed to DoodleSpell. You will need to download the DoodleSpell app, but you can use the same log in details as for Doodlemaths.

We encourage regular practice of our weekly spelling words using both the handwriting sheets sent home and by completing assignments on DoodleSpell. This weeks spelling rule is: Year 3Statutory Spelling Words.

Our spelling quizzes will be every Monday morning.

Wk6 Spellings

Reading

The children have done an amazing job at their reading homework so far. Please could their reading journal be returned to school on Thursday.

The reading homework is outlined below:

Part 1 = Children’s response to the question from the fluency text.

Part 2 = Children to tally how many different people they have read their fluency text to throughout the week.

Part 3 = a reading log of what they are reading with you at home.

Maths

Please regularly log in to doodlemaths to complete assignments set, which will relate to learning in the classroom. The children also have access to DoodleTables – which helps support times table practice.

KIRFs are what we will be learning this half-term – it would be beneficial to practice these facts, so the children become fluent.
