We have been enjoying our new story, the Gas Mask, which is our next Talk for Writing unit, with a focus on developing character and dialogue. We have been revising how to punctuate dialogue correctly, worked on using different techniques to bring characters to life and discussed character responses and actions. In the story, the main character puts on a gas mask, which is a portal back in time, so we also made our own gas masks to empathise with this.
