We had an exciting morning learning all about the power of story-telling with Mike, a professional story-teller. We began by exploring some traditional folk tales from around the world and their roots in old lore. We then moved on to develop how we express ourselves when sharing stories with others, using our voices and actions to bring the story to life. Finally, we practised different stories in groups, bringing them together for group ensemble performances. The children did a great job with their performances.
