Thank you to everyone who was able to attend yesterday’s reading meeting—I hope you found it useful. For your reference (and for anyone who couldn’t make it), I’ve attached the PowerPoint we shared during the session.
Reading is the most important way you can support your child’s learning at home. More than anything, we want children to enjoy stories and feel inspired to read. On page 9 of the presentation, you’ll find a helpful link on how to pronounce pure sounds, which is essential for blending sounds into words.
Reading books will be changed on Tuesdays, and Swap Books will be exchanged on Fridays. Please ensure these books are in your child’s bookbag on the correct day—thank you!
