Below is a reminder for pupils and a summary for parents of this week’s homework. Please note: Next week, we will include homework set via apps practice too (doodlespell, doodle maths, times tables rockstars). For this week, I thought we could keep it simple to ease us in! Login details will be handed out next week ahead of the homework setting date.
Spelling = “au” and “augh” sounds. To be practiced for next Friday’s spelling quiz. Please could your child bring a copy of their practice to show the teacher. 1A Wk 1 Augh Au LSCWC Sheet
Reading = part a) 1x entry in their new Reading Journal of their response to the question from the Book Club lesson today.
Part b) a reading log of what they are reading with you at home.
A reminder too – On Wednesday 10th September, Mr. Dring and I will host our Welcome Base meeting, where we will share expectations regarding homework and home reading. This will help clarify any questions you may have about homework and the new reading journal.
