Today, the children have been given their new storybooks and paper copies. Any older books that the children have read over the weekend, please remind your child to place them in the return box in the classroom.
Last Friday, we chose our ‘Challenge Tree’ books. We shall change these every Friday. So, if your child has finished their book, they should bring in their book on a Friday ready to return and choose a new one.
Your child’s homework book shall be returned tomorrow with a spelling task and a maths task. If your child does not hand their book back in time, I shall hand out their worksheet copies instead but these will still need to be completed and then stuck in at home ready for the following Monday.
Doodlespell is now up and running. In order to practice spellings, you just need to use your Doodlemaths login from last year and then you shall be able to see the weekly assignments regarding both spelling and maths.
