This week the children have been provided with their RWI and a copy of their Story Reading book too. We are low on copies for our RWI books so please bear with us in terms of rotating these weekly amongst groups. Either way, your child will have one or the other or both depending on availability.
This Friday, we shall be starting ‘Challenge Tree’ books. These will be explained in tomorrow’s Base One Meeting at 5pm. Furthermore, thank you for your support with ensuring your child completed their homework book for the first week back. Your child’s book shall be returned on Tuesdays with a spelling task and a maths task. The children have been getting used to using handwriting guidelines in some lessons so they should be familiar with the layout. If your child does not hand their book back in time, I shall hand out their worksheet copies instead but these will still need to be completed and then stuck in at home ready for the following Monday.
Doodlespell is now up and running. In order to practice spellings, you just need to use your Doodlemaths login from last year and then you shall be able to see the weekly assignments regarding both spelling and maths.
