A massive well done to the girls Football team who have won the small schools cup.
The girls won the cup after beating local rivals Willow brook 3-0 in the final. The girls had a fantastic cup run, not conceding a single goal along the way! In the first round the girls beat Costock 3-0, the next round followed suit with a comfortable win over Cotgrave COE after beating them 7-0, (the exact same result in the league also!)
The girls have played so well but it hasn’t been the performances that have impressed me the most, it has been their team spirit. The jellyfish celebration will certainly be a memory that lasts with me forever.
Our focus now turns to the league with 3 games left to play and 6 points clear of the top of the league. We will be hoping to finish this academic year of football with another trophy.
