Hello all,
Your children might have mentioned that we’ve had some very tricky gingerbread men who escaped from our classroom! Last week, we received a letter from them saying they were in Australia and apologising for running away. They kindly sent us some instructions on how to make a gingerbread man and promised that if we learned the steps and practised mixing and cutting them out, they would send us the ingredients.
We practised last week, and this week when we arrived at school, we found another letter waiting for us. This time, the gingerbread men told us they had gone to visit Santa in Lapland—and they left behind a bag of cooking ingredients! Using our instructions, we made our very own gingerbread men, and we were very quick to eat them up this time.
We had such a wonderful day!
