It’s been an exciting week at Crossdale as we watched the eggs (that arrived on Tuesday) begin to hatch! After days of waiting (and lots of checking the incubator!), the moment finally arrived — and now we have eight fluffy chicks, including one that hatched early this morning.
Owl Class have really enjoyed watching the chicks chirp around, explore their new space and become very fluffy! It’s been amazing to see them change so quickly! One thing’s for sure — it’s been an egg‑siting week from start to finish!
We’re looking forward to watching them grow over the next few days. Now they’re in the brooder box, we will be able to hold them next week!
