What a fantastic term we’ve had in Year 3! The children have worked incredibly hard and shown so much enthusiasm for their learning.
Recently, we’ve been stepping into the shoes of scientists, exploring the fascinating world of forces and magnets. The children have carried out lots of exciting investigations, including experiments on friction and testing magnet strength. Their curiosity and teamwork have been wonderful to see!
In Art, we’ve been getting creative with embossing techniques, using thick foil to produce some stunning textured designs. The results have been amazing and really showcase the children’s artistic flair.
A huge highlight of this term was our Christmas concert. The children performed brilliantly – their singing was full of joy and festive spirit. We are so proud of them!
This final week has been full of fun and celebration. The children have truly earned their treat day after all their hard work.
Over the break, it would be great if the children could keep up their hard work on their Doodle accounts and also attempt to complete the 12 days of Christmas reading challenge! Homework will be changing slightly from the new year – communication of this will follow.
Thank you for your continued support throughout the term. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We can’t wait to see what exciting learning awaits us in the spring term.
