This topic encourages curiosity about the natural world and helps pupils understand powerful Earth processes.
Art – Inspired by Andy Goldsworthy
This term in Art, we will be studying the work of Andy Goldsworthy, a renowned natural artist. The children will:
- Explore examples of his creative outdoor sculptures
- Use natural materials such as leaves, stones, and sticks
- Design and create their own nature-inspired artwork
- Reflect on how art can be temporary and connected to the environment
This is a wonderful opportunity for children to combine creativity with the outdoors.
We are looking forward to a fantastic term full of engaging learning experiences. As always, your support at home makes a huge difference—talking to your child about what they are learning really helps to deepen their understanding.
