Our homework this week is complete the following activities:
-we have our DAaRT graduation assembly on Thursday. If your group has not yet finished practising your presentation, or if it needs further work following our practice today, please spend a little time this weekend working on that
-remember to bring in your Christmas accessory on Monday, ahead of our Christmas concert dress rehearsal on Tuesday
-on DoodleSpell, assignments from Week 5 of our Autumn 2 spelling words. If you have any other assignments to finish off then please complete those too. Try and spend about 5 minutes a day on Doodle Spell to continually improve your spelling, as the app targets the rules and words that it has noticed you find trickier.
-our latest MyMaths assignment. Please let me know if your child needs a reminder of their login sending home. We have carefully checked the MyMaths homework and this week there are no secondary-level questions on there in error!
-remember to practise your spellings ready for our test next week. The rule to be tested on Monday is the spelling of words with the root ‘lumin/light’ and ‘gest’. Please see the following for a reminder of the spelling words: Autumn 2 Spellings 2025
-complete your reading journal entry. This week our fluency text came from the book The Chocolate Tree. Your copy of the fluency text should have made its way home today, and the question is written on the reverse side of the sheet. The question is: what other stories do you know about that involve a mythical creature coming to Earth? How is the story that you know different to this story?
-we will be having our topic homework showcase on the last Tuesday of the half term (Tuesday 16th December) so be having a think about what you would like to share with us on that day.
