Below is a reminder for pupils and a summary for parents of this week’s homework. Please note: If your child does not know their login details for the Doodle apps (doodlemaths, doodletables, doodlespell), please send me an email and I can generate new login details for you.
Spelling = “prefix im- words” assignment on doodlespell*, to be practiced for next Friday’s spelling quiz. Additional paper practice list available here: 1A Wk 3 Prefix Im LSCWC Sheet
*if your child cannot see the spelling assignment on their doodlespell app, they should complete the paper version and bring the copy with them next week so we can assess their progress, just as we would with the app.
Reading = part a) 1x entry in Reading Journal of their response to the question from the Book Club lesson today. The question will be about the fluency text they brought home on Tuesday.
Part b) a reading log of what they are reading with you at home, including the fluency text they returned home with on Tuesday.
Maths = Doodlemaths assignment “Read Roman numerals to 100” and regular doodlemaths practice (short or long daily streaks always praised!)
Times Tables = Complete the 10 studio baseline assessments on Times Tables Rockstars* over this week and next. Keep practicing your tables on TTRS and/or Doodletables!
*login details for TTRS were handed out this week. If your child requires them again, please email me.
