I hope you’ve had a great weekend – despite it being a rather wet Sunday!
*Apologies that last week I was a week ahead of myself with spelling and shared the week 6 words when we were week 5 then. Please work on the week 5 words at home this week so that those don’t get missed out! Words for week 5 are contractions (missing letters): I’m, we’re, she’ll, they’ll, we’ll, I’ll, you’ll, he’s, you’re, they’re. If you did it the other way around then please do the missing homework. This is the last week of whole class spelling so for the remainder of weeks, we will be working on spellings that have been misspelt in class.
*The children have been fantastic at working on their doodle maths this week. Lots of completed assignments and 5 a days. Really impressed! If you haven’t already and the option is still available, please try to sign up to the doodle summer challenge. We will give out certificates for completed challenges.
*If you haven’t already, please get ready to send in your child’s costume for the play – thank you!
*After the rain today, it looks like it will be another warm week. Please ensure children have sun cream, sun hats and a drink to help them stay safe in the sun.
