As part of our British Value of democracy, we will be electing our 2026/27 School Council next week! I have asked any children who want to run for the role of school council rep to prepare a short election speech / presentation, which explains their reasons for wanting to be a council rep and perhaps suggest an idea that they have to make our school an even better place. We will be holding our elections next Wednesday, the 16th September and will vote the same day.
They do not have to prepare anything written or to put on display, some simple notes will suffice, but if they wish to prepare a poster or something similar to promote their campaign then they are of course more than welcome to bring this into school.
