It may have been a shorter week at school, but it has not stopped Sparrow Class from fitting lots in!
In Forest School, we explored our senses and teamwork by guiding each other whilst blindfolded.
In phonics we continued practising our sounds and reading to each other. New reading books were sent home on Thursday—please try to read daily, with books changing again on Monday.
In Maths, we focused on ordinality, looking at how numbers to 10 relate to one another, and enjoyed playing number games both indoors and outdoors.
Our Habitat topic took us to the polar regions. We learned where the Arctic and Antarctica are on a globe, explored the animals that live there, and created igloos, snowflakes, and finger-painted polar animals.
Fantastic learning this week, Sparrows! Don’t forget to click ‘load more’ to see all the wonderful photos.
