Hello,
We have been busy this week with our Great Athletes event. We have continued to get excited by our story ‘Monkey See, Monkey Do’ and get stuck into our maths. Next week in maths we will work on addition and subtraction, starting with part, part whole models.
Reading
We swap our books on Mondays and Thursdays – please have books ready to pass over to staff then. Please try to listen to your child read their phonics book 3-5 times a week. We are very grateful to be receiving books back regularly.
Spelling
This week is week 5 of our spellings. Our words this week all have the sound ‘ch’ spelt ‘ch’ or ‘tch’. Our ten words are: chip, chick, catch, fetch, kitchen, notch, hutch, rich, much and such. We have set games you can play on doodlespell or you can use the page in your homework pack for some written work.
Maths
Try completing the short doodle assignments and having a go at your 5 a day to stay in the green zone.
