Reading
Reading books will be changed on Tuesday afternoon.
Challenge Tree books will be changed on Friday afternoon.
Maths
This week, we will be continuing our fractions unit by identifying halves, quarters, and thirds. This week’s maths homework will focus on shading one third of a given shape.
Spelling
This week we are focusing on words ending in -tion. Spelling words for this week: station, fiction, motion, national, addition, subtraction, potion, option, introduction, section.
The spelling test will take place on Tuesday 5th May 2026.
Doodle Learning
Some parents mentioned that the DoodleSpell and DoodleMaths activities were not matching the children’s weekly learning. I have updated everything on my end, so hopefully this is now working correctly. Please let me know if you experience any further issues.
