It has been another very hot week here, but the children have coped so well. This week, we made our clay snakes, which the children are excited to bring home (once they have been painted next week!). I will add another blog with some photos shortly. In English we have been working hard to innovate a new story based on Jack and the Beanstalk, and in maths we have been looking at some of the trickier aspects of maths, spending extra time developing our understanding of these areas.
Spelling: We have now completed all of our spelling units, but I have set some words on Doodle for the children to revisit.
PE: PE will take place as normal on Monday and Thursday next week, so please ensure your child wears their school PE kit on those days.
Reading: The children will have new books to take home on Monday and Thursday this week. Please try to re-read books to help build fluency, speed and understanding. Re-reading the same book 3-5 times is recommended.
Maths: I have set some new assignments for you on doodle; please login to doodle and complete your daily quick fire questions. Try to stay in the green zone by logging in every day.
Have a great weekend!
