Sparrow Class have made an excellent start to the new term, diving enthusiastically into our topic, Under the Sea. In English, we have enjoyed reading and discussing The Rainbow Fish. Inspired by the story, the children have taken part in sharing activities where they created and exchanged their own shiny scales, produced beautiful watercolour paintings, and written some wonderful sentences in their Fred Frog books.

In our topic work, we have continued exploring life under the sea by learning about a variety of sea creatures. The children have shown great creativity in making sea creature models from recycled materials and worked collaboratively to build an impressive underwater cave.

Well done, Sparrows, for such a fantastic start to the term!
