Sparrows have had a great week of learning at school!
In English, we became innovators by changing The Gruffalo story map and creating a new story called ‘The Big Bad Dog’. Sparrows, can you use the story map to retell the story to your family? Can you remember the actions too?
In Maths, we continued exploring composition by using double dice frames to find number pairs that make 10. This is something we could practise at home as well. Perhaps you could give us 10 small objects, such as buttons, and hide some of them. We can then tell you how many are left and how many more we need to make 10.
In our habitats topic this week, we ventured into the rainforest. We made a mini rainforest and learned about the animals that live there. We also made masks so we could pretend to be rainforest animals and moved like them during Cosmic Yoga.
