    Published 22/04/22

  • Covid Update, 18th April 2022

    Published 18/04/22

From 1 April 22, updated government guidance advises people with symptoms of a respiratory infection, including COVID-19, and a high temperature or who feel unwell, to try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people until they feel well enough to resume normal activities and they no longer have a high temperature.

Anyone with a positive COVID-19 test result will be advised to try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people when they are most infectious:

    • Adults: 5 days
    • Children: 3 days

We would ask all families to exercise great caution when considering if their child is well enough to attend school. This will allow us to maintain optimum staffing levels and ensure as many children as possible stay well and can continue to come to school.

The latest NHS advice for children can be found here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/coronavirus-in-children/ Please note that the NHS has significantly expanded the list of symptoms linked to covid-19.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
