Chicks arrive!
It's been an exciting day at school today with a very special delivery!
Straight from The Happy Chick Company, 9 eggs ready for hatching have arrived at Crossdale!
Over the next week, the children will be able to see the eggs hatch and watch the chicks grow and change - it's a wonderful, real-life addition to our science and PSHE curriculums and brings a magical feel to school of new life as they begin to tweet and cheep!
I'll keep you posted with some more pictures on here so you can all enjoy the process too.
We kindly ask you to support us with the cost of the eggs with a voluntary contribution of £2 (which is now available to pay on school money) but completely understand if families wish not to contribute.
