Book Week: Monday 28th February – Friday 4th March
This year our theme for book week will be ‘Books around’ the world’.
The children will take part in various different activities throughout the week, including hearing stories from different teachers, having a story circle, paired reads and we’ll also be having a visiting story-teller to school on Friday 4 th. During the week our assemblies will focus on stories from different countries.
To coincide with World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March, we will be inviting children to dress-up to reflect a character from their base or class theme:
R, Y1, Y2 (Base 1): Animals. The children will be making a headband in school to complement their outfit!
Y3: Greeks
Y4: Romans
Y5 & Y6 (Base 3): Magic and Wonder
We'll look forward to seeing everyone dressed up!
