Blog Notifications - Update!

An update about blog notifications.

We know that some parents have had problems with blog notifications recently and we have been keen to get this sorted as soon as possible. Hopefully, these should start again today / tomorrow. (The emails should typically only be sent if there is new content, but today you may get an email from each blog to which you are subscribed.)

The (free) service that we previously used to send these changed the way it was configured which meant that it became significantly more difficult for us to organise groups of subscribers into classes. We have changed over to another (equally free) service and we hope that this will now allow us to keep notifications working and manage the changeover at the end of the school year more easily.

I have resubscribed the email addresses of our first contact for each child to the relevant class blogs and to our news and updates / safeguarding blogs. (There will be an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email if this address is not the most suitable.)

If you find that the emails are getting filtered as spam, you can try to add blogs2019@crossdaleschool.com as a contact.

The subscription forms are now back on the website and these will allow you to add other email addresses as required. (see below also)

Please get in touch if there are any obvious problems - like getting updates for the wrong class etc!
