    Children at Crossdale took part in a mass choir event this week at the Royal Albert Hall in Nottingham. They were magnificent!

    Crossdale Choir wowed us all in their showcase assembly this week. They sang beautifully (despite a few nerves) and we are all so proud of their hard work.

    A big 'Thank you!' goes to Mrs Jones and Miss Jackson for filling the school with song once again this year. It's really brought joy to us all!

    It's children's Mental health Week in School this week and across the UK.

    As part of Mental Health Week the focus is on 'Let's connect'.  Let’s Connect is about making meaningful connectionsHuman beings thrive in communities, and this connection is vital for our wellbeing. When we have healthy connections – to family, friends and others – this can support our mental health and our sense of wellbeing. And when our need for rewarding social connections is not met, we can sometimes feel isolated and lonely – which can have a negative impact on our mental health.

    Safer Internet Day 2023 will take place on the 7th of February 2023, with celebrations and learning based around the theme ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’. Schools across the country will be talking about how children should use the internet in a safe and responsible way.
