Another busy week of sport last week!

A brilliant week for sporting events at Crossdale last week with Year 5/6 Sports Hall Athletics and a Boys' Football match against Sutton Bonington. 

Year 5/6 Sports Hall Athletics 

Mr Sanders took 20 base 3 children to represent Crossdale in the SHA at West Bridgford Comp last Wednesday evening to compete in a difficult heat. The children were magnificent and did Crossdale proud showing superb attitudes and commitment throughout the evening. 

A big well done to all of the children who took part! 

Year 5/6 Boys Football Match 

The boys' football team travelled to Sutton Bonington last Thursday evening to play in a tightly contested fixture in which they lost 5-1. However, the score does not reflect how well the boys' played on the night and the scoreline could have quite easily have been the other way round we just lacked a clinical edge in front of goal, but the football at times was really impressive and a pleasure to watch. 

Well done boys! 

Once again a big thank you to parents who offer support with lifts and come along to cheer on the children, it is greatly appreciated.
