Au Revoir et Merci, Year Six!
Mrs Ogilvy and I would like to say a huge thank you to the children and parents of our outgoing Year Six - Ash Class. We have had a brilliant year which has been enriched by the daily privilege of being able to work with these amazing children.
We have been proud to have been associated with them.
We would also like to say thank you for the very generous and thoughtful gifts and cards (and report reply slips) which we received this week. They were all very warmly appreciated. (This includes the hugely thoughtful card which I was banned from opening until today and which made me a little emotional! It also included a word I had to look up! (Eleemosynary!))
We will very genuinely miss you all - children and parents. The children have been simply inspirational in the way they have embraced challenge and hard work and in the good humour, resilience and positivity they have shown every day. (They have also shown great eleemosynariousness! ;-) )
We are both looking forward to hearing about the children's successes at secondary school and we hope they will be able to pop back to school to see us again.
Have a brilliant summer!
Mr McKenna and Mrs Ogilvy
