Happy Half term!

I hope you are well and that you have been able to enjoy the (occasional) sunshine this week!

Thank you so much if you have been able to send me any of your work. This is always very much appreciated, though I know it isn't always easy for you. Please feel free to let me know if you have been doing anything else that you have enjoyed - as well as the amazing work!

I'm not adding a learning mat/map to this blog post as next week is half term and we thought that we'd give you a bit of a break. However, if you want me to sort out more work, then please get in touch as I will be happy to get this organised for you.

If you wanted some ideas of things to do, you could have a look at the website for the  Nottstopping Festival - an online festival celebrating Nottingham and Nottinghamshire this weekend with over 200 different (online) events and lots of ideas for activities - art, environmental / nature, music, literature, poetry, wellbeing and dance!

I've been doing a bit of gardening; the ivy seemed to be determined to make a bit of a counterattack when I wasn't paying attention!

I've also been continuing with my attempts to learn to draw; I've been trying to improve my ability to include detail and shade more carefully. The eye at the top of the page is actually A4 size in real life; it's a bit scary!

Have a great weekend!

Mr McKenna
