Robin Hood's Bay - Tomorrow!

Some last minute reminders for our trip to Robin Hood's Bay!

I hope you are all well.

We're really looking forward to our trip to Robin Hood's Bay!

I've just had a look at the Robin Hood Bay webcams and it's sunny up there at the moment!

The weather forecast for tomorrow and Thursday suggests that it should be sunny-ish with a small chance of showers, so please remember to check that your children have waterproofs! I have attached the itinerary and kit list to this post so you can check you have everything / most things!

We are aspiring to leave at 08:30 tomorrow, so it is helpful if you get your child to school at 08:05 - 08-10 ish. Mrs Ogilvy and Mrs Deegan will be near the hall ready to collect medicines from you and I will be (mostly) in the classroom looking after the children.

You can leave cases/big bags, spades and buckets etc. outside (and perhaps you can help us to load the coach when we get to that stage). The children should bring their little rucksacks / backpacks into the classroom with them.

For tomorrow, in their backpack, your child will need:

  • a packed lunch - not in a big lunch box / bag;
  • water - in a non-breakable bottle;
  • waterproof coat;
  • waterproof trousers;
  • sun hat & sun cream - (fingers crossed!);

Subject to network coverage, we will try to update the residential blog regularly. This can be found at https://crossdaleschool.wordpress.com ( I think you can subscribe to this blog as well, so you get a notification when we add a new post.)

Please try and grab me tomorrow morning, if you have any last minute questions.
