Nearly there...

SATs Week - Next Week

I've been hugely proud of all the children this week. All 21 of them have shown a great maturity and desire to do their best.

We've revised as much of our maths and English as we could squeeze in and we've got to the end of the wek feeling confident and really quite relaxed.

I'l set some MyMaths and Reading Eggs spelling lessons that they can look at over the weekend - if they feel inspired to do so; the priority for the weekend is relaxing and feeling proud of their great efforts so far this year.

We've talked through the tests and given the children lots of chances to ask questions; hopefully, this has helped eliminate any unnecessary anxiety about their slightly different week.

I, and Mrs Ogilvy and Mrs Phoenix, have also spent lots of time telling them how genuinely proud we are of their efforts and how pleased we are with the confident way they have approached our revision. (We've also all been astonished, impressed and a bit intimidated by their amazing maths skills!)

Residential Meeting - 22/5/19

Can I remind you that we have a meeting about our forthcoming residential coming up in the week after SATs. The meeting is on Wednesday 22nd May at 6pm and the trip is 19-21 June. I'll share some information about the trip, kit list, itinerary and answer any questions. If you would prefer to talk more privately, get in touch and we can find a time to fit this in.

Have a great weekend!

Mr McKenna
