  • Urgent Message - covid in Y6

    Published 16/11/20, by Peter Cresswell

We received a call this morning, after the children had started arriving at school, telling us that a Y6 pupil, last in school on Wednesday, tested positive for CV-19 on Friday. The pupil in question did not have symptoms prior to the test.

A call to Public Health England confirmed that we need to close our Y6  bubble for 14 days, meaning they can return to school on Thursday 26th November.  Other members of your household do NOT need to self-isolate unless your child develops symptoms.

    Please collect your child asap.

  • Mr McKenna

    Published 04/11/20, by Peter Cresswell

In response to guidance received in school about the national lock down that starts tomorrow in England, Mr McKenna will be working from home starting from tomorrow. The guidance stipulates that adults with specific health considerations should not come to work as normal until after the 2nd December.

We have organised things so Mr Mckenna can teach via video with another adult in class to supervise and monitor the children. Mr McKenna will mark children's work wherever possible to inform his planning (work will be photographed using SeeSaw or Mr McKenna will come into school outside of normal hours to collect work) and he will be working as hard as ever to ensure lessons are well matched to children's needs and are fun and engaging.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Many thanks for your ongoing support.

    Mr Cresswell
