What have we been up to recently?

Goings on in Cedar this term

Hello all,

We have been rushed off our feet recently in Cedar, and I wanted to make sure that you heard all about it!

As our WWI topic is coming to a close, we have produced some fantastic play scripts, set in the trenches, and even wartime Keyworth itself. We may even get the chance to perform some of these next week too! Our handwriting has even earned some of us a pen licence, with the rest waiting in the wings with our provisional licences!

We also discussed what being a good friend looks like, for Anti-Bullying Week. We tied this together with our British Values, and wrote some kind things about each other, to remind ourselves that we value and respect one another at Crossdale.

In Maths, we have been putting our multiples and factors knowledge to the test with a few tricky games, and enjoyed confusing our partners and getting a little (or very!) competitive.

Looking forward, next week, we will begin making our products for the Christmas Fair Enterprise Project, so if you still have some unwanted items at home which Cedar class can use for their crafts, please bring them in with your child's name on the bag.

Looking forward to another exciting few weeks,

Miss Rodriguez
