Cedar's great first week in their final base at Crossdale
Hello all,
Welcome to your new class and your new base!
Mrs. Ogilvy and myself have been so impressed with the positive attitudes and art skills that the children have demonstrated this week in Base 3.
With the Tour of Britain on our minds, we got our hand nice and mucky with some prints in true Andy Warhol Pop Art style. Move over Marilyn Monroe - bicycle wheels and unions jacks have taken over in Year 5!
We also had a wonderful visit from the team at Little Mouse Pottery and created self portraits that you will soon be able to see in school, along with our pop art prints, which will be on display in the hall next week.
I'm looking forward to meeting you all at the Base 3 meeting on Wednesday 12th September at 6pm, where we will give out further information on your child's learning this year, and goings-on in our Base, but for now, have a fab, restful weekend.
