Healthy Living Week!
This week is healthy living week so we have been thinking about what that phrase actually means!
So, today we focused on PROTECT by revising the importance of sun safety (slip, slap, slop, shade!), BEING ACTIVE as we headed out to the field with our Year 5 Bubble A Sports Day and finished the day with a focus on DIET by sharing a refreshing smoothie, full of nutritious fruity goodness made by chef Westie!
This week's extra challenge is to try and make a smoothie packed with nutrition that you like the taste of. We all have different tastes (and some Year 5's were NOT keen on strawberries or bananas :)) but we all need to 'eat like a rainbow' so see if you can find something to suit you.
