Using identification keys to classify minibeasts!
As part of our science topic this half term, we are exploring how biologists use classification keys to identify different organisms. We have had a go at using some keys for minibeasts to see which different critters we could identify in the different habitats that exist within our school grounds, ranging from the rocky playground to the forest floor. All exciting stuff! Ask me if you would like a copy of the key to carry on hunting in the garden at home.
