Homework WB 27.01.25

Hope you're having a great weekend.

First thing...Amazing work to all of the Puffin class for their class assembly on Friday. It was wonderful to see them shining and showing you how busy we have been in class with all our curriculum! We hope you enjoyed coming in to school to see this as much as they enjoyed showing you.

Second thing...more marvellous news...The Puffins are top of the charts for doodle this week. They have almost double the number of stars that The Penguins have! We promised the children a treat if they could be top of the leader board so we will have a long play time one day this week and some time on the woodlands.

*Reading - books will be swapped on Mondays and Thursdays as usual. Please re-read those books a few times to help build fluency. We have noticed lots of the children need to really work on 'Fred in your head' instead of sounding out every word. If you notice this, just remind them to Fred in head! Thanks to all the families and children who completed the videos that were sent before the break.

*Spelling this week is Spring 1, Week 4: /ir/ and /ur/ - girl, bird, shirt, first, third, turn, hurt, burst, burn church. Please login to Spelling Shed to play some games to help get to know these words really well.
