🐣 Chick, Chick, chick, chick, chicken... 🐣
... lay a little egg for me!
The Puffins have loved raising nine little chicks over the past couple of weeks. The whole experience has provided the children with many learning opportunities. We have thought about life cycles, observing the hatching eggs and seeing how the chicks grow. We have showed care for them, using calm voices and holding them gently. And, as well as this, we have investigated what chicks need, like a warm heat lamp and food.
