HOMEWORK OF THE WEEK (16.12.24)

We're on our last week! The countdown to Christmas is quickly going down. The children have worked incredibly hard this half-term and are truly ready for a well-deserved break. Not long to go now. Thank you for your ongoing support as always. Let's end this half-term with a Christmas bang.

Please find attached this week's spellings for next Monday's spelling test (06.01.24). For this week, your child has a handwriting sheet (to be completed independently) and a Maths revision activity to refresh their understanding for properties of 3D shapes, which shouldn't take too long. I shall send home a news book on the last day in case your child would like to jot down any exciting things that they want to remember and share with us when we return in the new year.

Please have a look at your child's reading book for this week and encourage your child to keep revisiting it when they can. The children have been given a copy of this week's story book, a new phonics book, a new challenge tree book and book band book.  I have already set Doodlemaths tasks for this week and lastly, don't forget to keep on using Spelling Shed a few minutes at a time.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
