Homework 22.07.24
Hello,
I can't believe I am writing the last homework post of the year. It has absolutely flown by but we know the children are ready for the next challenge. It's been a super year and I've so enjoyed teaching the children this year - they are a wonderful class, they've worked hard and I know we will see them doing great things as they move through school. I know Mrs Morgan has had a great time with the Starlings since coming back to Crossdale in February and agrees that they are simply amazing. We have an exciting week in store - ending with a treat day (Starlings really deserve this!) - but we also have some tasks to do along the way!
*Last week I mentioned that we will have an ice cream treat on Thursday with some exciting toppings. Please let me know if you do not want your child to participate in this.
*If your child did not bring their play costume in last week (bright colours), please send a bag in tomorrow as we have our shows on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Children can return to school from 5:35pm on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. We look forward to seeing you there!
*I will send PE kit home on Wednesday after their last PE session this week. Forest Schools kit will follow on Thursday. We also have a lot of other work to come home with you. Please pop a carrier bag in your child's book bag so that we can get that ready and make it easier to take home with you. We will be using books until Thursday so we will aim to send most home with you then.
*Please return any other reading books to school this week so that we can re-stock our shelves in time for September. I have sent phonics videos home to some children via arbour email; hopefully you have found those. We will send some books for the summer to help keep you going. Please also look out for the summer reading journey.
Thanks again for being such supportive and friendly parents - it has been great to work with you, too.
Mrs Jones
