hOMEWORK 25/03/24
Hello,
Here is your weekly homework post. We are all counting down to Easter and I'd like to wish you all a happy and relaxing Easter holiday. On Wednesday I will not be in school as I am attending the EQT choir which I help to lead on at school. Mrs Phoenix will be in class for me that day and the children will be doing work that I have set for them, including completing our last topic lesson for Florence. That means only one thing...new topics are coming!
**Forest Schools will be returning to our curriculum in Summer 1 - please ensure that your child has all the right clothes they need for this: waterproof coat, trousers and wellies. This will be every Monday now. **
*Your 'special homework' for the holidays is to keep a diary by writing some of the key events you get up to over the holidays. I have included paper this week to help with this - if your child prefers, they could make their own book / present in a different way.
*Spelling activity this week is linked to week 6: /oo/ spelt as ew and ue: blue, rescue, glue, clue, true, new, few, threw, drew, flew. There are games that you can play on Spelling Shed to link to these words and I have included a homework sheet. I've not stuck this in as part of the activity is to cut and stick the word to the clue.
*Please listen to your child read at least 3 time a week. New books will come home with you on Monday and Thursday. Please send in any books to be returned on Mondays and Thursdays as well so that we can re-stock our shelves (thank you!).
*Try to stay in the green zone on doodle by completing your '5 a day' and your assignments.
