Our class elf, Elvis

You might have heard that we have had an elf arrive in class, who goes by the name of Elvis. He arrived on Friday with some Christmas stories wrapped in Christmas paper; enough for us to open one each day until Christmas. Then today, when the children came in, he had all the phonics cards out and had been teaching himself to read. We might have to keep some elf diaries in the weeks to come, documenting his activities!
