Homework WB 27.11.23
Hello,
Here is your weekly post with general messages and reminders for the week including information about homework.
*Well done to the children for making a great start with their new Roots to Reading books. It is wonderful to see how much they are enjoying their reading.
*Your 'special homework' for this week can be found in your child's homework book that I will send home, as usual, on Tuesday. This week I have sent home the song words for our Christmas carol concert in a few weeks' time. I hope you enjoy hearing the songs we have been singing at school. The children will not need any costume in particular - we will be asking them to wear a Christmas jumper or accessory.
*Spelling activity this week is linked to week 4 of autumn 2 words: (ee sound spelt as /ee/ and /e/) he, me, we, she, be, meet, green, week, tree.
*Please listen to your child read at least 3 time a week. New books will come home with you on Monday and Thursday. Please send in any books to be returned on Mondays and Thursdays as well so that we can re-stock our shelves.
*Try to stay in the green zone on doodle by completing your '5 a day' and your assignments.
*Please ensure your forest schools kit including wellies are in school on Mondays and that PE kit is in school on Mondays and Fridays. We are not doing forest schools this half term but we will still seek out opportunities to use the outdoor space when we can - sometimes we have to wrap up for playtimes so please leave it in school for this.
