Wonderful Writing

This week we have been recycling our class story of The Enormous Turnip. We have thought about choosing story language and sentence starters in our own work from stories we have read and enjoyed and we have been thinking about our Year 1 toolkit. You will recognise some phrases from the original story but the children have also chosen new characters and vegetables!

Today we wrote the middle of the story - wow! I was so impressed that I asked Mrs Westie to bring her stickers along. 

I can't wait to see how their stories end tomorrow!
