Homework Post 25.09.23

Hello,

Here is your weekly homework post with general messages and reminders for the week and about homework. Thanks again for being so well-organised today with handing books over to me so that I can get them ready for next week.

*Your 'special homework' for this week is to think about autumn and the signs that it has arrived. It definitely feels like we are moving into the colder months!

*Spelling activity in homework books

*Please listen to your child read at least 3 x a week - books are swapped on Mondays and Thursdays.

*Try to stay in the green zone on doodle by completing your '5 a day' and your assignments. Hopefully, this is a quick activity for your child - it really does make such a difference to their maths fluency, so thanks for your support.

*Login to Spelling Shed to play games linked to our spellings. New words should appear today. This week our words have /ng/ and /nk/ at the end. These will be taught on Monday in school and returned to each day as part of our English teaching.

*Please ensure your forest schools kit including wellies are in school on Mondays and that PE kit is in school on Mondays and Fridays. Please feel free to leave kit in school now that we have our lovely, new cloakrooms where we have plenty of storage!

*Please consent to and make payment for our trip to Tamworth Castle (11th Oct). There is a consent button for you to use to allow your child to attend this trip which is on School Money, too.
