Shields are coming along nicely!
Hello all, here are some photos from our DT day yesterday. The children did a fantastic job exploring their materials and thinking about how their shields would look. They used their learning from our history lessons to create some authentic and accurate representations of Celtic and Roman shields - I was very impressed.
Thank you to all parent helpers who have given up their time to support the project. We will hopefully put the finishing touches to our shields next week, at which point they will be ready for our historical recreation of the expansion of the Roman Empire!
